Elementary Youth Group/Choir

Elementary Youth Group/Choir is a program designed for students grades K-5 and meets every Wednesday during the school year from 3:30-4:45 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church. The children are met by adult and youth chaperones at "The Rock" on the southeast corner of Park Elementary School and are walked to Peace. We enjoy a snack, singing, a Bible study and games. Visitors are always welcome!

Special Events

This year we are celebrating 30 years of Summer Concerts! Mark your calendars, you won't want to miss the performances of these talented musicians!

After the concert, enjoy a wonderful Salad Luncheon prepared by Parish Services!

Handbells

Ringing in a handbell choir is challenging and fun. If you can count, you can be part of this unique choir. We rehearse from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.on Wednesday evenings and play once or twice a month in worship, depending on everyone's schedules. Our congregation is fortunate to have a large collection of handchimes and handbells. Join us and help make a joyful noise.

Peace Singers

All singers of high school age or older are welcome to be part of this group. We sing a variety of styles of music and offer them to God in the 8:00 or 10:30 worship services and on special occasions. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. You do not have to be able to read music to sing with us. Join us and help us make a joyful noise!

An Instrument of Peace In 1997, J.W. Walker & Sons pipe organ builders from England installed a custom built pipe organ into the Sanctuary of Peace Lutheran Church. The organ has 3 manuals and pedal, 35 stops for 41 ranks of pipes (2,235 individual pipes) controlled by stop knobs, 32 levels of electronic combination action with 43 pistons and reversibles, mechanical key action, and electric stop and combination action.
