Two Hour Late Start MAP

This is a photo of our first two hour late start MAP (Mission Awareness Program).

Special Events

Throughout the year, Children’s Ministry offers several one-day events for our elementary youth. These events are designed to help our children grow in their faith and knowledge of Jesus while having fun with family and friends.

Summer Programs

Peace Lutheran Church offers several Christ-centered summer programs. These programs are designed to help each child grow in their knowledge of their Lord and Savior. Two major programs are Vacation Bible School and Camp Omega. Vacation Bible School is designed for children 3 years old to grade 5. It takes place the first full week after the completion of the regular school year. The second is Camp Omega, which is offered every summer for one week in August. This program is designed for children entering grades 1 through grade 5.

Release Time Program

At Peace Lutheran Church, we understand how important it is to educate the whole child spiritually, mentally andphysically. This is a great mid-week program in which children are released from school for one hour to go to a church of their choice for religious education. The students are escorted to and from Park Elementary to Peace Lutheran Church by adult chaperones. This program is open to children grades 2-5. It meets every Wednesday morning from October through April. Registration must be done prior to attending to be excused from school.

M.A.P. For Kids

M.A.P is the Mission Awareness Program

This program is designed to increase awareness of different mission opportunities for our youth. The program will meet at Peace Lutheran Church when the public school has a regular scheduled two-hour late start. The children will enjoy breakfast, learn about a mission project and then will participate in activities that support that mission. All children are responsible for transportation to Peace Lutheran for this program. Adult chaperones will escort the students to Park Elementary before the beginning of the school day.
